The Clearfield County Amateur Radio Club is currently in the process of building out a network of WinLink Gateway Stations for the purpose of providing high-speed WinLink access to the large majority of communities within Clearfield County.  Rather than using mountain-top repeater sites, our strategy is to place WinLink Gateways closer to population centers which will allow for more consistent mobile and HT coverage.

Currently there are two WinLink Gateways under construction. They will operate on the 70cm band using VARA FM for maximum allowable throughput.  When the initial two Gateways are complete and operational more will be added until we have a comprehensive network of gateways providing service to Clearfield County.
