The National Weather Service has made their Skywarn “Weather Spotters Field Guide” available as an on-line resource. Summer is here and the likelihood of increased storm activity moving through Central Pennsylvania is increased with summer weather patterns. This is an ideal resource to re-familiarize yourself with terminology and identifying different weather events. Amateur Radio has tradditionally been the eyes of the National Weather Service during severe weather situations. We encourage you to take advantage of this on-line resource and be prepared.
