At the September Clearfield County Amateur Radio Club meeting it was decided to resume a weekly net for the club. The last time a weekly net was conducted was at the beginning of the COVID19 epidemic. It is hoped that resuming this net will allow local amateur radio operators a means to share information and build comradely more frequently than the monthly meetings allow.
The Clearfield County Amateur Radio Club Weekly Net will be conducted every Tuesday evening at 7PM on the W3CPA 147.255 repeater, PL tone 173.8 Hz. The first net will be on Tuesday October 1st 2024. Please mark your calendar as a reminder.
Rich N3RBJ has volunteered to act as Net Control for the first net. But we do need volunteers to allow for a rotating schedule of Net Control operators. Nobody wants to be cornered into doing net control stations every week! If you are interested to help please contact any of the CCARC club officials or volunteer during the net.
